YENCO.COM: The shareware company management tool.
If we needed to describe the YENCO.COM application with one word, that word would be "workflow".

One of the biggest challenges for a small shareware company is actually finding the time to write shareware and not getting tied down in important but inefficient daily operations. In 2003, we wrote an app to help manage and streamline day-to-day tasks here at YENCO.COM and through the years we've continued to refine it. Key features in the latest version include:

Customers: Our customers are very important. Whether they have contacted us to request a lost registration code or we need to contact them about an update or upgrade, the customer module makes it fast and easy.

Charts: The YENCO.COM app enables us to keep track of sales so we know what financial resources we have available. It also displays Mac OS & processor data from our apps to help us allocate development resources.

Feedback: This module provides a threaded view of all new, updated, and unresolved feedback, lets us quickly respond direct from the YENCO.COM app, and cross-link to our Projects module for tracking bug reports and suggestions.

Registration Code Generator: Kagi handles order processing for all YENCO.COM products, but we need to supply them with the codes to issue to our customers. This module makes that a simple two-click operation.

Projects: A danger when writing software is going off on a tangent or adding "just one more feature" and never managing to release a product. This module enables us to set clearly defined goals to keep us on track.

News: When new products are ready for release, we're not done working... we still have to get the word out. The YENCO.COM app provides tools to create and send press releases and update our News section and RSS feed.

Tools: When we need to track down a bug or add a new feature, our projects and all the SuperCard developer tool components are only a couple of clicks away thanks to a handy launcher built into the YENCO.COM app.

Updates: The YENCO.COM app creates special files that enable our products to know when a new version is available and if the user is eligible for any special offers. It also stores a log of what is new in each version.
